Turnboard is field software for apartment turnover. Walk a unit, record what you find, take photos. It behaves identically whether the wifi is up or you are standing in a concrete stairwell.

“Did that save?”
A tick that lands only on the server is a tick you can lose. Turnboard writes to the device first and treats syncing as an afterthought, because that is what it is.
“Where did that photo go?”
A photo is not counted as saved until the server confirms the file, the checksum matches, and the record is written. Until all three are true, the original stays on the device.
“Why is this still incomplete?”
When two people change the same thing, one of them is working from old information. Turnboard holds it for a manager instead of silently picking a winner in the field.
Every unit, current as of the last device that had signal. Nothing is quietly stuck, because stuck is a status you can see.
Photo loss is what kills field software, and it usually happens in the gap between the file arriving and the record being written. Turnboard treats those as two separate things that can each fail, keeps the original on the device until both are confirmed, and shows you exactly how many are still outstanding.
Months later, when a deposit is disputed, the evidence is still there and still attached to the right inspection.

Work queues on the device and drains when there is signal, whether that is in twenty seconds or eight hours.
